WAGING WAR ON THE WEDDING INDUSTRY

The term "guerrilla" comes from the Spanish word guerra, meaning "war," combined with the diminutive suffix -illa, translating to "little war."  It originated during the Peninsular War when Spanish and Portuguese irregular fighters resisted Napoleon's invasion.  These small, mobile bands, unable to compete against massive opposition on a conventional battlefield, would use tactics such as ambushes to fend off a much larger force.

We think this perfectly encapsulates our approach to weddings.  The gargantuan wedding industry is a massive force.  As of 2023, it commanded an average of $32,029 per wedding in the state of Oregon.  Venues and vendors collude to keep prices high.  We can't compete with them.  We don't want to compete with them.  We do small weddings.  We don't need to rely on expensive venues when we have the beauty of Central Oregon around us.  We can set up anywhere, anytime.  And we can do it all on a rebel's budget.  In and out, without a trace.  Although guerrilla is in our name, its about love, not war.
